The Advisory team in the Regional Service Planning, Investment and Partnerships (RSPIP) department is tasked with ensuring all elected members receive joined-up advice from across the Customer and Community Services (C&CS) Directorate. We oversee strategic advice that enables operational delivery.

There is an exciting opportunity for 2 new Senior Advisors and an Advisor to join the team as we look to expand our resources and support our colleagues across the wider directorate. You will confidently lead, promote, and model the provision of quality advice to elected members, and empower and coach the department and wider C&CS directorate toward impactful improvements in the advice that we give.

Impeccable writing and reviewing skills are needed for you to be able to assist colleagues to report on findings and provide options analysis and quality advice to elected members, and other key stakeholders.

You need to have strong communication skills, including excellent relationship management and influencing skills and you will be skilled at building sustainable effective working relationships.

An interest in continuous improvement and strategic development of advice would also be advantageous.
