He angitūtanga: The opportunity

In this role, you will be supporting the ERP Manager by providing technical expertise to develop and execute SAP Business plans and ensuring that it reflects the Council’s ICT Strategic and Tactical Plans. You will also be working with business stakeholders to evaluate, and where appropriate, implement additional business functions and technical enhancements of SAP in a standard and best practice manner.

As an experienced people leader, you will be providing effective leadership to a Functional team of 7 who manages support and change within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA). You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively across council, agencies and communities to effectively contribute towards the delivery of the Māori Responsiveness Plan for Tāmaki Makaurau and create a coherent linkage with the council’s overall work programme to achieve Maori outcomes.

He kōrero mōu: About you

You will be someone who comes from a Functional background, knows SAP like the back of your hand, and is passionate about improving business processes using SAP. You will be a people leader who has led teams or project managed implementations of various complexities, ideally with SAP. Your familiarity with SAP's Human Resources (HR) and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules will be highly regarded in this role. Finally, you will have proven ITIL experience with a focus on change management and process improvement leadership.
