We're looking for an experienced and passionate Residential Property Manager to oversee a regional portfolio of residential properties within Auckland Council’s Parks and Community Facilities asset portfolio.

In this role, you'll be responsible for all aspects of tenancy management, including screening applications, conducting rent appraisals, formalising tenancy agreements, and handling ongoing tenancy administration. You'll facilitate maintenance requests, rent reviews, rent arrears management, property inspections, and other tenancy-related functions. Additionally, you'll provide expert tenancy advice to internal kaimahi and elected members, ensuring compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act and other relevant regulations.

You’ll bring solid experience in residential property management, leasing and negotiation – including dispute resolution and familiarity with Tenancy Tribunal processes. You will have a strong understanding of the rental market and legislative requirements and responsibilities in that landscape.

With a knack for relationship management, you’ll be skilled at managing tenants and building strong partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders. You’ll enjoy working in a collaborative and flexible team environment, and have a good attitude, resilience, and the ability to manage high-pressure situations.

This role is based in the CBD but requires travel to other parts of the Auckland region, so it is important that you hold a New Zealand driver’s license.
