He angitūtanga: The opportunity 
You’ll have the opportunity to use your solid organisational and administration skills to provide efficient administrative support, ensuring the smooth running of our Auckland Council building consent processes. This is a customer-focused role that will allow you to be part of our hardworking and supportive team environment. Another aspect of this role would be working on phones dealing with customer bookings for our inspections team. There is also a big focus on responding to customer queries via email or phone calls.  Our team strives to provide the best quality service possible to our customers. With a “can do” attitude there are real progression opportunities for you within the team and wider Auckland Council. However, this is a role that sits in a fast pace environment and hence time to complete a task would be of utmost importance.

He kōrero mōu: About you 
To be successful in this role you will be system savvy, able to easily adapt to new technology, and have previous experience in administration. Your excellent communication skills will help you excel in this customer-focused role.  A proactive nature along with your great attention to detail and understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc) will strengthen your application.  Having some understanding of building legislation and SAP experience would make your application stand out.
