He angitūtanga: The opportunity 

 

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join a multi- disciplinary team in a role focused on grants and funding to support communities. You’ll make sure communities are supported to apply for the various types of funding available, and work with the team to make sure our grants are effectively supporting our communities.

 

He kōrero mōu: About you 

 

You’ll have excellent written and oral communication skills and be comfortable engaging with people from all walks of life. You’ll also have experience in presenting to a range of stakeholders, ability to prioritise and plan, and be able to show initiative and think on your feet.

 

Ideally, you’ll have some knowledge and experience of grants and funding processes, but more importantly you will bring a confident and collaborative working style to the team.

 

An interest in and knowledge of the arts and culture sector and a drive to learn and be part of the council whānau would also be advantageous.
