He angitūtanga: The opportunity  

 

An exciting secondment or fixed-term opportunity has arisen to undertake the Project Administration Coordinator role within the Independent Hearings Panel Team/Secretariat alongside the Independent Hearings Panel as they prepare for and undertake a series of hearings, mediations, and expert conferencing associated with proposed Plan Change 120 Housing Intensification and Resilience.

Fixed- term or secondment until approx. mid-2027.

 

This role directly supports the Independent Hearings Panel planning, assisting with:

  • Work programme and workflow scheduling, prioritising, and reporting
  • Identifying and managing risks and reporting
  • Financial management
  • Supporting the Hearing Panel and Secretariat Team across the workflow
  • Supporting the project closure and lessons learned outcomes

 

He kōrero mōu: About you

 

Ideal candidates will either hold the following capabilities or seek to learn where development is needed:

    • Understand the planning process and ideally a tertiary qualification in an aligned sector.
    • Hold project management accreditation, or relevant programme management work experience or previous experience in supporting a manager and team
    • Presentation skills for management reporting
    • Excellent IT fluency and proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite 
    • Ideally experience in project management software and systems
    • Maintain consistent programme systems and tools, including templates
    • Identify and recommend opportunities for process and systems improvement
    • You will be a self-managing team player with a high degree of initiative and the ability to balance competing demands
    • An excellent administrator
