Auckland Council is on a continued and significant transformation journey and as a result has a large Information Communications and Technology Services (ICT) capability. This presents a unique opportunity for an ICT professional to come and join us in this exciting complex and energized environment in a permanent role. 
As an ICT Platform Specialist, you will primarily focus on the support, maintenance, and configuration of Auckland Council ICT ITSM ServiceNow platform. 
Within this role you will also support analysis and implementation of periodic upgrades, patches and testing, ensuring data integrity and above all enabling the continuous evolution of processes within Council using ServiceNow.You will be responsible for systems administration, establishing governance processes, collaboration with ICT, relevant stakeholders and customers to ensure the effective upkeep of the ICT ITSM ServiceNow solution in terms of design and build.

 

He kōrero mōu: About youYou have worked with Business Systems in a support and project capacity helping drive efficiency and business improvement. You have ServiceNow application support experience as well as project (upgrade, testing, patching) experience. In addition, you will bring JavaScript experience essential, preferred knowledge of Frameworks such as ECMAScript5 standard – Server side and Bootstrap UI framework and jQuery library – Frontend.With strong critical thinking ability and natural inquisitiveness, you’ll be able to use your researching skills to seek new ways of doing things, challenge and question thinking and trial solutions to find the best outcome to implement. Overall, you need to be very digitally savvy, understand the power of building strong relationships and love continuous improvement.
