Are you a skilled professional seeking to make an impact? This role holds the key to providing precise technical support and expert guidance in planning processes. Your mission: ensure a seamless delivery of planning documents through diverse mediums, and oversee the timely, accurate completion of the Unitary Plan and associated documents. Tackling issues related to Unitary maintenance procedures is all in a day's work.
You will also be maintaining operative planning documents to aid in plan changes and notices of requirements. You'll collaborate with the Governance Division on statutory hearing processes and cultivate strong stakeholder relationships. Prioritizing efficient workload management, cross-skilling, and professional development, you'll help shape the Plans & Places Department's planning process and deliver top-notch customer service. In addition, manage relationships with Auckland Council Digital Services, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and relevant legislation. Championing process and system enhancements, you'll introduce initiatives to elevate your expertise.

The ideal candidate for this role will hold a tertiary qualification or have 2-5 years of experience in resource management / planning support. We are specifically looking for someone with the following attributes:
- Knowledge of RMA's First Schedule.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with HTML, Adobe Professional, and Photoshop is desirable
