GridAKL seeks to inspire an entrepreneurial spirit and grow innovative businesses to enrich the innovation community in Tāmaki Makaurau. The Place Manager is the key driver of professional ‘place’ building activity and management services that support achievement of the overarching vision, mission, and objectives of GridAKL and ATEED. 

 

You’ll be the facilities and property manager for GridAKL’s diverse range of tenants, residents and property operators. You’ll be their key contact to ensure the buildings are effectively and proactively maintained and property agreements are followed. You’ll deal with complex property leases, manage procurement processes, plan and manage projects and budgets and provide monthly reporting.

As a process driven facilities manager, your background is in managing high quality buildings. You understand the high standards that are required, and you’ve worked in complex organisations managing and delivering on large scale projects involving a wide variety of stakeholders. Self-driven, you’re able to keep things moving while maintaining strong and positive relationships. You have a solid grasp of the numbers as well as leases, procurement processes, and financials. You deliver on time and to budget, every time. You bring exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills including polished presenting capability as well as a good understanding of economic issues facing Auckland. What will set you apart, is an understanding of how you can contribute to developing the space to feel more inclusive for all those who use it.
