Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki is one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading cultural institutions, home to an internationally significant collection and a vibrant programme of exhibitions, events and public experiences.

 

 

We’re looking for a Multimedia Technician to join our team, someone who thrives in a high performing environment and can deliver quality technical solutions that elevate visitor and client experiences.

 

This is a full time, permanent role reporting to the Senior Manager, Public Programmes.

He kōrero mōu: About you

 

You will have proven experience delivering event AV solutions, the ability to translate client needs into creative technical outcomes, strong coordination and organisational skills, and a proactive, adaptable approach to managing teams, systems, and events.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have:

 

  • A qualification in Audio Engineering or Audio-Visual Technology (e.g. SAE, MAINZ)
  • Experience with AutoCAD (or similar tools)
  • Knowledge of event booking systems (e.g. Momentus)
  • Health & safety awareness (Site Safe/EWP advantageous)

This role is Band F with a salary indication of between $80,640 and $98,560 based on your skillset and experience.
