Manager Event Delivery
This is an awesome leadership opportunity which will be both challenging and rewarding! You will take the lead in planning and delivering an exciting programme of events and festivals, which respond to the needs and aspirations of Auckland communities.
You will lead and manage a team of eight experienced and passionate event delivery staff who plan, develop and deliver high quality events and festivals throughout the Auckland region over seven days per week. Some of these events include the annual Movies and Music in Parks summer series, Christmas events, CultureFest, the Auckland Heritage Festival, various local board events, and the operational delivery of other festivals and council led events.

He kōrero mōu: About you
You will need a high level of professionalism, endless energy and be able to lead and support a motivated team to deliver successful, quality events. A tertiary qualification in Events is desirable as is evidence of recent professional development in leadership and management, a current driver's licence and preferably experience within local government.
You will have significant experience in event operations, managing high performing teams to deliver excellent results, ability to demonstrate competency in project management and process improvements and have great relationship and stakeholder management skills.
