Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED) plays a critical role in driving Auckland’s economic wellbeing and supports the ability of the region to compete internationally. Our purpose is to support the growth of quality jobs for all Aucklanders. Our Major Events team enable events like Auckland Lantern Festival, ASB Classic and the Pride Parade. Our team of Event Facilitators manage and coordinate the operational and regulatory side of Auckland's major events. Above all, we are problems solvers who work closely with key delivery partners like the NZ Police and our Council family, supporting event organisers and enabling them to deliver the best possible events to Auckland.  


He kōrero mōu: About you


You may not have worked in local government, but you have an appreciation of the regulated environment and you’re attracted to the process-driven nature of this role. Your project management skills and ability to plan and organise at an operational and strategic level will be paramount. You value constant communication and have plenty of experience developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. Your events background will set you up for success as you already understand what is needed in the planning and organising stages of delivering exceptional events in Auckland.
