Ngā Pātaka Kōrero o Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland Libraries) have a strong community focus, and we are an extraordinary destination for the people of Auckland.  A Library & Council Service Assistant plays a vital part within our library service and ensures that the Central City Hub (including the Central City Library, Ellen Melville Centre, Albert Park Caretaker’s Cottage and Te Wharekura), provide a world-class customer experience that is second to none.
 
No two days are the same, you will greet and assist customers with a variety of queries from assisting customers to access library & council services, supporting with the delivery of programmes and events, digital troubleshooting, and general computer queries.

 

The Central City Library is open 7 days a week so flexibility around working days, including weekends and late nights, is required. This is a part time permanent opportunity.

  • Love working with tamariki and can assist with delivering programmes and supporting programme partners
