Join Auckland Libraries and make a difference in your community by delivering exceptional customer service, supporting literacy and learning, and helping Aucklanders thrive. Based in the Onehunga Library, you may be required to work across the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki local board.

You’re a strong communicator with a heart for community and a commitment to excellence in customer service. You’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in libraries or a related field
  • A library or related tertiary qualification
  • High digital literacy and the ability to support others with technology
  • Confidence managing complex or high-tension situations with empathy and maturity
  • The ability to lead and mentor others, supporting continuous learning and team growth
  • A deep respect for te ao Māori and a commitment to bicultural practice
  • Strong cultural awareness and understanding of Tāmaki Makaurau’s diverse communities

The band for this role is Band E with the budgeted salary range from $ $66 493-$77 050
