He angitūtanga: The opportunity

 

Due to an internal promotion, we have a role available for an experienced Analyst to join our Insights team within the Democracy and Engagement department.  

 

Reporting to the Auckland Insights Manager, you will partner with stakeholders across the Council Directorates, supporting the delivery of evidence-based market research and consultation projects that have a tangible impact on Auckland and its citizens.

 

By providing robust research and consultation analysis for Auckland Council staff and elected members you will develop and deliver research/consultation projects that help shape new initiatives and challenge existing activity to ensure stakeholders are focussing on the right priorities. The insights from these projects will feed into a range of other council teams and services which impact the lives of Aucklanders.

 

This is a permanent full-time role with flexible working options. 

 

 

He kōrero mōu: About you

 

To be successful in this role you will possess qualifications in business management, statistics, or a similar discipline. Your background will demonstrate strong experience in data analysis, working in a market research environment or supporting marketing or public communications campaigns or customer experience programs. 

 

Proficiency in using measurement and analysis tools such as Qualtrics, SPSS in a complex environment coupled with excellent innovation, communication and collaboration skills is key here as is, experience with online survey/engagement platforms, data visualisation, and research panel management.
