Auckland Council is on a continued and significant transformation journey and as a result has grown to become one of the largest Information Communications and Technology Services (ICT) capabilities in New Zealand. Thispresents a unique opportunity for an experienced ICT professional to come and join us in this exciting complex and energized environment in a full­ time permanent role.


As the ICT Library Lead & Architect, you will work in close partnership with Auckland Libraries and Lead the development of ICT Library strategies and roadmaps jointly with Libraries senior stakeholders. One of the biggest expectations in this role is to manage and maintain an overview of the eco system for library's solutions, technical andintegration architecture. You will also work closely with other ICT teams and act as a service broker to ensure successful ICT outcomes for Libraries

It is essential that you have at least 1O+ years of proven technical and architectural experience, preferably in theapplication space working in large complex organisations, of which 3+ years in a leadership role within largeenterprise organizations


Your strong expertise in Saas solutions enablement, integration methods and modern APls along with your proven background in agile methodologies, digital/online and mobile technologies/apps, middlewaretechnologies will contribute to the success in this role.


A high-level understanding of security and data privacy is paramount for this position.


Since you will be heavily involved in solution delivery where you have to ensure that all projects are delivered ontime, within budget and meeting objectives, your personal resilience, combined with your solid knowledge inbusiness process & re-engineering will be heavily put into practice.
