We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition leader to join Group Shared Services (GSS). This critical role will focus on leading a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy and driving the implementation of a GSS operating delivery model. You will be responsible for strategy, operations, tools, and recruitment outcomes with a particular focus on developing and executing a consistent, continuously improving customer and candidate experience, strategy and delivery.
Your mahi will include:
- Providing thought leadership across the enterprise, offering expert insights and advice to help achieve our strategic goals
- Providing strategic leadership and direction to the Talent Acquisition team of 42
- Lead and develop the overall internal talent mobility, redeployment and early career pathways (ECP) programme strategies
- Strengthening our Employer Value Proposition by promoting a compelling narrative
- Drive the design and delivery of our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) recruitment initiatives, and deliver DEI best practices to attract a diverse workforce

He kōrero mōu: About you
This role requires extensive experience in the talent acquisition space from large and complex organisations. Experience within political environments or group shared services will be highly advantageous.
We will be looking for specific experience with:
- Budget accountability, ensuring cost-effective business practices
- Delivering recruitment strategies, aligning with industry best practices of DEI, Early Career Pathways, and Internal Mobility programs
- Knowledge of and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi/Treaty of Waitangi
- Leading technological transformation across multiple complex working environments.
