Auckland Council is home to a world-class graffiti vandalism prevention service. If you want to be part of a team which keeps our city beautiful and contributes to the safety and wellbeing of residents, this is the role for you. We are looking for a Graffiti Vandalism Advisor – Prevention and Enforcement professional to work in our Community Empowerment Team.

As the perfect person for this role, you will have experience in community, local authority, police or government agencies and a background in operational graffiti vandalism prevention or a related area.

He kōrero mōu: About you

With a focus on prevention and enforcement, you’ll work collaboratively with our key community partners, iwi, contractors, and relevant government agencies to reduce emerging and repeat graffiti vandalism. You’ll take a holistic approach to this work which aims to reduce the level emergent offending while taking a restorative approach to enforcement of the law as required.

You’ll need to be skilled at working with multiple agencies and feel comfortable providing advice and guidance to community partners, elected members and staff within Auckland Council. Building and maintaining strong relationships is critical, and you’ll have an awareness of issues relating to youth justice and restorative approaches to reducing offending.
