He angitūtanga: The opportunity

The Geospatial Programme Delivery Team are responsible for the management and delivery of geospatial projects and initiatives. The Geospatial Programme Delivery Team believes in building strong relationships and collaborating with our customers and partners to solve problems by creating leading geospatial solutions and products. The team also believes in operating in a high performing, agile manner, working efficiently and effectively to deliver high value outcomes.

As a Geospatial Specialist within the team your key responsibilities will be to engage with customers, helping them to understand the capabilities of our GIS and the value that our technologies can bring to their business. You will work with a range of partners helping to scope new projects and initiatives and to deliver to technical requirements. You will also be involved in planning and coordination of geospatial resources to deliver projects to scope, time and budget constraints and help the team to continually improve.

He kōrero mōu: About you

To be successful in this role you should ideally have:

  • 2+ years’ experience of Esri and/or Safe Software preferably within an enterprise sized organisation
  • knowledge and experience of latest web and mobile GIS technologies
  • experience in customer engagement and project delivery
  • experience in designing and building geospatial solutions
  • a proactive and have a continuous improvement mind-set
  • a tertiary level qualification (bachelor’s degree minimum), preferably in Geospatial Information Systems, Computer Science or another strongly related field or have relevant business

Working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday; you will have flexibility with how those hours are set. Some of our people begin early, some stay later, and remote working is an option too.
