As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, timely and expert financial advice to support operational decision-making and business improvement for the transport and infrastructure division. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the organisation, providing insights that influence business performance and contribute to strategic success.

 

Day-to-day you can expect to work on:

 

· Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with business leaders and the wider finance team to help achieve organisational goals.

· Lead the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for designated departments and/or business units.

· Deliver high-quality financial reporting and insightful performance analysis to drive informed decisions.

· Act as a trusted advisor—challenging, supporting, and promoting sound financial practices across the business.

· Understand key business drivers and proactively identify risks, opportunities, and solutions.

· Coach and develop non-finance colleagues to build financial capability across the organisation.

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute Finance Business Partner to join our Finance Advisory team.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who thrives on making a real impact—providing expert financial analysis, fostering strong business relationships, and helping shape strategic decisions. To be a success in this role you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a collaborative approach. In addition to this you will have the following:

 

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a similar finance partnering or commercial finance role
  • Strong knowledge of financial frameworks
  • Ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to think critically and solve problems
