Facility Support Coordinator | West Wave Pool and Leisure Centre 

West Wave is one of Auckland’s largest and most popular aquatic and leisure facilities, serving a diverse and active community in West Auckland. With a wave pool, hydroslides, fitness facilities, and a wide range of programmes and events, no two days are the same.

We're looking for a Facility Support Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of this vibrant and fast-paced centre.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Provide administration support across multiple teams within the centre.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and the local community.
  • Promote our programmes, services, and facilities to help Aucklanders get active their way.
  • Ensure records, reporting, and operational processes are accurate and up to date.

This is an on-site, permanent full-time role working 40 hours, Monday to Friday. 

Please note that the shift is subject to change according to the roster and the needs of the centre, so flexibility is essential. The ability to work flexible hours including late nights, early mornings and weekends would be advantangous.

As part of supporting Auckland's largest leisure centre, you'll be a highly organised and customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and supporting a wide range of customers, community groups, and stakeholders.

You'll bring:

  • A positive, can-do attitude and the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong customer service experience, with the ability to build genuine connections with internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working across multiple teams.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Sound problem-solving skills and the confidence to use initiative and professional judgement.
  • Experience preparing and presenting reports
  • Experience using computer systems and Microsoft Office, with administration or booking coordination experience being advantageous.
