This role offers a unique development opportunity in conjunction with Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA), including bi-monthly check-ins and access to additional support and insights from industry experts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and supporting the delivery of energy efficiency and carbon reduction projects

You may have recently completed your studies or have had some initial exposure to the workforce (less than 12 months post-study work experience) and are now looking to build your experience in a supportive environment.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • A tertiary qualification in sustainability, energy management, engineering or a related field
  • A foundational understanding of systems such as GIS, asset management tools or databases (or a willingness to learn)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong organisation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive mindset, curiosity, and eagerness to learn and grow

You may be required to travel to sites, so you’ll need to hold a full, clean New Zealand driver’s license.

Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou: What we offer

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a large, complex organisation while contributing to meaningful environmental outcomes.

You’ll benefit from structured development and mentoring, including regular engagement with EECA, as well as exposure to a wide range of projects and stakeholders in the sustainability space.
