He angitūtanga: The opportunity
We have an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for a Digital Business Analyst to join our Digital team and help deliver customer-focused solutions that make a real difference for Aucklanders.

 

You'll play a key role in supporting digital transformation initiatives, improving how Aucklanders interact with council services and creating simpler, more accessible digital experiences.

 

Working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team, you'll lead the discovery and analysis of business and customer needs, translating requirements into practical digital solutions. You'll work closely with stakeholders, developers, designers and delivery teams to ensure solutions are effectively designed, tested and delivered.

 

You'll also contribute to business cases, project estimates and functional testing, while identifying opportunities for improvement through customer feedback and data analysis. Acting as the voice of the customer, you'll help ensure our digital solutions deliver meaningful outcomes.

You'll be a proactive, customer-focused Digital Business Analyst who enjoys solving problems and turning complex requirements into practical solutions. Comfortable working across a large organisation, you'll bring strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

 

You'll also bring:
•    A minimum of 2–3 years' business analysis experience, in a digital environment
•    Demonstrated experience leading digital projects or initiatives through to delivery
•    Strong requirements gathering, analysis and documentation skills
•    Experience working with customer-facing digital platforms, websites or online services
•    Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
•    An understanding of customer journeys, user experience and functional testing

Salary range: $91,000 – $107,000 per annum based on skills and experience.
