He angitūtanga: The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a Digital Analyst to join the Customer Experience & Digital Services Team within the newly formed Group Shared Services (GSS) directorate for a 12-month fixed term, to provide effective management of the digital business, SEO, and statistical reporting, including analysis, insights, interpretation, and recommendations to our digital channels.
This is to understand the performance and satisfaction of existing products and inform decision-making for future investment opportunities and to increase the productivity, reach and satisfaction of the Council through this channel.
Key responsibilities include:
• Create and deliver regular operational reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basis and provide effective and efficient reporting solutions
• Provide clear and actionable insights and recommendations based on the findings of the data analysis to support forecasting and decision-making.
• Provide interpretation and visualisation of data, using dashboards and visual reporting tools.
• Complete root cause analysis to determine opportunities for improvement in key drivers of customers.

He kōrero mōu: About you
To be able to interpret customer-driven data or large datasets into meaningful information, we are looking for someone with:
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis or web analytics
• Skilled in leveraging Google and Adobe Analytics to track performance and drive data-informed decisions
• Advanced level of ability across Microsoft applications including Power BI, Excel, Word PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Good data visualization skills, along with your ability to interact with stakeholders will also be heavily put into practice
• Self-managing and able to quickly adapt to a constantly changing environment with multiple priorities (highly regarded)
