We are looking for a Contract Manager to efficiently manage our key operational and maintenance contracts and relationships in line with council processes and protocols.

On any given day you may be planning and implementing small asset renewal and improvement projects, ensuring health and safety protocol is adhered to, producing progress reports, identifying risks or working on procurement or financial matters.

You will work closely with other stakeholders within the council family who have shared interests in closed landfill sites such as but not limited to Community Facilities, Healthy Waters, Watercare and Panuku to ensure that landfill risks are well managed and the sites’ amenity and commercial value is optimised.

We will value your project management skills including planning, implementation and financial management.

You are politically savvy and can naturally walk the fine line of influencing and driving results with your stakeholders while maintaining and enhancing positive relationships.  You are practical and solutions focused, adaptable in the face of changing requirements and resilient when dealing with challenging conversations.
