He angitūtanga: The opportunity
You’ll be part of a compliance team proactively addressing a wide variety of stormwater related compliance issues across the Auckland region. Working closely with your team for guidance and support, you will spend considerable time out of the office being on the frontline to ensure compliance under the Resource Management Act, Building Act and Local government Act.
You’ll work with customers in communities most affected by the recent flood and cyclone events to help mitigate the effects of such extreme events in the future.
He kōrero mōu: About you
You bring experience in compliance or regulatory fields, with a focus on stormwater or environmental regulations. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential as you engage with stakeholders at all levels. You’ll be a proactive problem-solver, skilled at evaluating risk and handling complex compliance issues. A tertiary qualification and 2+ years of regulatory compliance experience will set you up for success in this role.
Additionally, a current full NZ driver’s license is required. If you’re passionate about improving Auckland’s stormwater management and making a positive environmental impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Salary range $77k to $89k per annum
