He angitūtanga: The Opportunity
Amotai is looking for a highly skilled Communications Lead to drive the execution of our communications and marketing strategy. In this pivotal role, you will enhance Amotai’s presence across various channels and lead efforts to effectively engage both Māori and Pasifika suppliers and corporate/government buyers. You will oversee content creation, social media management, event promotion, and website maintenance, ensuring that Amotai’s work in supplier diversity is effectively communicated to a broad audience.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement communications and marketing plans aligned with Amotai’s strategic goals.
- Manage Amotai’s brand, ensuring consistency and professionalism across all communications and materials.
- Support and coordinate events, ensuring they are aligned with Amotai’s mission and objectives.

As Communications Lead, you will be a skilled and innovative communicator with a passion for promoting Māori and Pasifika businesses. With at least 3 years’ experience in communications and a tertiary qualification in marketing or a related field, you will have exceptional organisational abilities and the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Your expertise in relationship management and content creation, along with your ability to raise Amotai’s profile, will be pivotal in fostering diverse supplier opportunities and connecting people to our mission
