He angitūtanga: The opportunity

 

Auckland is a fast growing, dynamic and diverse region. Auckland Council makes decisions affecting Auckland’s people, economy, infrastructure, and environment.
 
Council takes an Agile approach to change management and is looking to add an experienced Change Manager (Coach) to the team within Regulatory Services. The role reports into the Regulatory Change Manager and Release Train Engineer. The primary purpose of this role is to manage change across the Release Train using an Agile approach and to drive continuous improvements to the quality and efficiency of the change management process.

 

Your role will be a mix of coaching and establishing and supporting a consistent culture across the Epics. You will work with Scrum masters, Product Owners and Product Manager, within the Regulatory Services Agile Release Train (RS ART) to deliver and embed change, within the agreed initiatives. You will provide change advice that will support the embedding of Auckland Council’s change approach and principles into the ART and impacted business areas. The change manager will also participate in the change “community of practice” across council, to foster effective knowledge management, shared learning and to build change capability and maturity.

He kōrero mōu: About you

 

You have experience in using an agile approach to change management in a complex stakeholder and organisational structure. You have knowledge and experience of industry standard approaches with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. You will ideally have a tertiary or industry recognised qualification in change management.
 
You have experience in driving organisational change and facilitating change management initiatives across large functional team and coaching on change planning activity.
 
Superior written,  oral communication and proven coaching skills  with the ability to tailor responses to different audiences are necessary. We are looking for someone with these attributes:
