Our newly formed directorate, Group Services purpose is to help create an Auckland we can all be proud of. This role sits within the Corporate Strategy & Business Improvement department within Group Services
Reporting into the Head of Business Improvement & Enterprise Change, you will proactively deliver process optimisation opportunities that result in better experiences for customers and deliver internal process optimisation for our staff when performing their roles.
You will ensure opportunities for improvement are identified through comprehensive root cause analysis, value mapping and process mapping and that IT delivery projects are supported through the delivery of high quality user stories that are endorsed by the end users. You will also drive an agile and a lean innovative culture where delivery of improvement initiatives is fostered.
He kōrero mōu: About you
Tertiary qualified, you will bring 5 years business analysis and process design experience and proven experience facilitating improvement initiatives across large functional teams. You will have a solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using Agile and Lean methodologies. Lean or Six Sigma Qualification/experience desired – green belt minimum.
With an excellent ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, you will bring holistic thinking around E2E process performance, leading to change in business process, including process measurement and benefit tracking. You will have n-depth knowledge of structured problem solving and process management and improvement
You participate in initiatives to embed te ao Māori into the way we do things. You are willing to develop and build your own understanding and capability to contribute to the delivery of the directorate’s Māori outcomes and wider organisation’s vision to be responsive to the needs and aspirations of Māori as outlined in the Māori Outcomes Performance Measurement Framework –Kia ora Tāmaki Makaurau.
