He angitūtanga: The opportunity

We’re looking for an Archivist to join Auckland Council’s Archives team (part of Group Shared Services Data Governance) and help care for, preserve, and promote council’s rich archives. This role plays an important part in making sure council’s archives are well managed, accessible, and protected for future generations, while supporting our statutory obligations under the Public Records Act 2005 and associated standards.

  • Accessioning, appraising, arranging and describing physical and digital archives in line with archival principles and standards
