As an Analytics Transformation Lead within the Data Department for Group Shared Services, you will play a pivotal role in leading the data migration for a core HR and Payroll system migration. In this capacity, you will provide highly specialized technical and strategic leadership as the data expert, ensuring a seamless transition throughout this significant project.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:
 

  • People leadership: building and leading a team of data engineers and analysts to support the data workstream of our core HR and payroll system migration
  • Technical leadership: establishing the new HR and Payroll data patterns in the Modern Data Platform, determining appropriate technologies and methodologies for data movement, and ensuring adherence to data governance standards.
  • Strategic leadership: providing strategic consultancy to HR and Payroll teams, identifying opportunities for analytics, automation, and machine learning.

He kōrero mōu: About you

We are ideally looking for candidates with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Data and Analytics roles within organizations of high data maturity, along with at least 5 years of experience in senior or technical leadership roles. Candidates that can show expertise in data migration strategies, tools, and technologies, with a proven track record of successful implementations in large-scale environments plus a broad technical understanding of modern data technologies is highly desirable.

 

As a Lead, you should have strong leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams and effectively manage direct reports. Having an agile mindset with experience in Agile methodologies is a bonus.
