He angitūtanga: The opportunity
Reporting to the Manager Venue Planning, the Administrator Venue Planning is part of our Venue Planning team, who oversee venue booking, calendars and our contracts management functions. The Venue Planning Team also act as the central hub for administration, information and support for the event sales and programming teams.
 
The Administrator, Venue Planning plays a key role in our team and as a person who is in demand, we are looking for someone to bring a personable and collaborative attitude towards building relationships and a passion for business and performing arts events, and venues management.

He kōrero mōu: About you
The primary focus of this role is on venue booking, calendar and contracts administration, so previous experience in this area and/or in diary scheduling is essential. Along with this experience, you will leverage your strong interpersonal and communication skills due to the collaborative nature of this role and ensure you’re able to juggle your priorities through excellent time management.

 

Your working knowledge of Word and especially Excel are important to your success in this position, as the information you capture and record feeds into the reporting functionality of the team, to ensure continuous improvements can be delivered from a business improvement standpoint.

 

You will be using the Ungerboeck events management system as a key tool, so previous experience with this platform would be an advantage (but is not essential), alternatively experience other CMS or events platforms would help.

 

You will also provide project support to the Manager, Venue Planning with a particular focus on sales support for the Auckland Conventions team, and so will also work closely with the Head of Sales and Brand, Conventions in this role as well, making it a dynamic and highly collaborative role that will keep you highly engaged.
