Accounts Receivable Queries Advisor

Auckland Council's Group Treasury department is looking for an Accounts Receivable Queries Advisor to join the Accounts  Receivable team. You'll join a close-knit team of 10.

This is a great opportunity to show case your experience in a large and well-known government organisation. 
 
In the Accounts Receivable Queries Advisor role you will be providing efficient advice and service to internal and external customers on Accounts Receivable matters.  This includes responding to customer queries and disputes and ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.

You can also expect to work on:

• Delivering daily reports/statement to Accounts Receivable and Credit Control
• Build and maintain effective relationships in collaboration with other business units within Council and CCOs.

He kōrero mōu: About you
 

To be successful in this role you will need to have some experience in similar accounting roles and experience in a high transactional volume environment. Experience working under pressure and to tight deadlines is essential.

You will have demonstrated great time management and are a strong team player with a great attitude! 
 
A successful candidate will ideally have experience in:

• Basic accounting and reconciliation
• Previous experience in a high transactional volume environment
• Familiar with SAP
• Passion and experience working with customers
• Be familiar with the New Zealand legislative and statutory environment.
