We are seeking an individual who can contribute to elevating Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland as a top visitor destination. As an essential member of the tourism team, you’ll be pivotal in ensuring seamless coordination across activities, facilitating connection and maximizing team efficiency and productivity. Your excellent communication and relationship-building skills will be crucial in delivering high-quality administrative support and managing our stakeholders.  

He kōrero mōu: About you 
 

With your keen attention to detail, you’ll help ensure that projects are executed smoothly, deadlines are met, and our sustainability goals are tracked. You’ll be a proactive problem solver, able to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining strong professional relationships with internal and external teams. You’ll have your own area of responsibility, being the go-to for our Cruise volunteers.  

You will also be able to demonstrate the following: 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. 

  • Support the team with your strong admin skills and be our go-to for preparing presentations and industry information. 

  • Strong administrative skills. Proficiency with databases (ideally Salesforce) and reporting is a must. 

  • Enthusiastic team player, and people person with a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to demonstrate manaakitanga and have a strong focus on Te ao Māori. 

  • You can pronounce and use basic Te reo Māori in emails, meetings and conversations.
