Senior Data Warehouse Developer
The opportunity
You will be working closely with business units across council as well as ICT support teams to deliver agile Business Intelligence (BI) and data warehousing solutions. You will analyse business requirements, business process modelling/mapping, data warehouse solution design and build using the Kimball methodology, and data warehouse operations. You will provide leadership in solution development, peer support and coaching, BI-related initiatives as well as BI/data warehouse customer support activities that align to best practice.
About you
You have 6+ years of proven experience as a senior working in complex BI and data engineering environments with expert knowledge of coding, ETL, data tools and data platforms. You have advanced end-to-end knowledge of solution development life cycle with emphasis on best practice, quality assurance and customer-centricity. You are no stranger to collaboration whether it be in an agile team environment or independently. Finally, you have leadership qualities that drive your passion to help develop those around you using your excellent interpersonal and relationship skills with matching written and verbal communication.
