Senior Centre Manager | North Auckland Centres

 

Our Leisure Centres play a fundamental role in our goal to get "More Aucklanders, More Active, More Often". Our aim is to improve the customer experience for all Aucklanders that visit our Centres and for you to oversee the management of our facility. We are looking for a proactive senior people leader craving an opportunity to showcase their ability to lead a large area-based team of 6 pools and leisure centres, from Takapuna to Whangaparoa, and be the driving force behind delivering leisure services that meet the needs of the North Auckland community.

 

This is a fixed term role till 30 June 2023 and will be working across our North Auckland centres.

 

Operational excellence, multi-site leadership, and fiscal responsibility are key drivers for this role. Not only delivering sustainable financial results but seeking to increase performance and grow the business via continuous improvement initiatives as well as supporting the centre-based teams to support the diverse needs of our local communities.

 

 

He kōrero mōu:  About you

 

You’ll have experience successfully managing and operating multi-site operations, recreational facilities or customer service-oriented teams, with solid industry experience and a high level of business acumen and commercial focus.  Key to this role will be your excellent people relationship skills, with an ability to unite teams and bring people together towards achieving goals.

A practical knowledge of business planning, performance monitoring and operations management will come with you, alongside a proven track record in developing, maintaining, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, ideally from the community sector.
