He kōrero mōu: About you


  • Tertiary Level Qualification (Bachelor Degree Minimum) preferably in Computer Science or similar or extensive relevant business experience
  • 7+ years of broad ICT experience
  • 5+ years of proven experience in software development, system administration, CMS and the implementation of Web and Mobile applications in a highly complex environment
  • Out of the box Sharepoint and Umbraco sites functionality development experience
  • Lead and support small projects to large complex projects
  • Experience with Cloud technologies, integration methods and API’s
  • Agile methodology working experience

In this exciting new opportunity, you will lead the delivery, coordination, and maintenance of Auckland Councils Web and Mobile applications to ensure they can support the business environments. You will also be responsible for the management, development and delivery of future ICT Digital Web and Mobile services and applications to customers, citizens, ratepayers and the business. The role will enable you to use your broad Web and Mobile technology background so you can act as the technical expert for support needs but also as a product consultant finding new and innovative ways to improve business systems. Additionally, you will also be the 2IC for the team providing support to the Line Manager and the team so they can provide continuous support to the business. Finally, you will be able to create a coherent linkage with Auckland Councils overall work programme to achieve Maori outcomes.
