He angitūtanga: The opportunity

 

Working from the central communication centre on a 24/7 (5 days on and 2 off roster). You will provide support to the Tātaki Auckland Unlimited Security Officers, Control Room Officers, and Mobile Patrol Officers in the execution of their duties while ensuring all direct instructions from the Operations Manager - Comcen are met and adhered to. You will also ensure that business objectives are met. This role will support the delivery of the Tātaki Auckland Unlimited security programme, always ensuring the highest possible standards are maintained. The focus of this role is preparedness, readiness, being proactive, and the growth of our people.

He kōrero mōu: About you 

 

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

 

  • Leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience of working in a Security Operations Room
  • Ability to analyse and make decisions.
  • Ability to work with others in demanding situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Certificate of Approval
  • A full NZ driver’s licence
  • Minimum NZQA National Certificate in Security (Level 3) or equivalent experience, but willing to complete.
  • Achieved NZQA Adult Education Level 4 or be willing to complete.
  • Willing to complete an international qualification (ASIS Associate Protection Professional preferred)
