As kaitiaki (guardian) of Auckland Council facilities, we play a vital role in promoting the wellbeing of our communities while also delivering strategically significant programmes. 

 

This is a permanent opportunity to join the Regional Operations team as Regional Asset Information Specialist working with teams such as Regional Parks, Cemeteries, Botanic Gardens, Auckland Domain and Tupuna Maunga Authority. You’ll assist with ensuring the accuracy and auditing of data that comes in from a number of sources and stakeholders, along with mapping of assets in GIS and capturing and recording asset attributes and condition ratings to help inform an integrated view of asset management.

 

He kōrero mōu: About you

 

You’ll have some knowledge of asset management and be able to manipulate large data sets.

Experience working with GIS and SAP, would be preferable but not essential.

 

As someone who is highly organised you plan and prioritise your time effectively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.  

 

You are able to undertake on-site field asset surveys and assessments, experience in or knowledge of the parks/recreation/community sector would be advantageous.

You will be required to have a valid NZ driver's licence due to the nature of the position where you will be required to regularly travel to various Community Facility sites across the Auckland region.
