AIM Services is a leading provider of open space and full facility maintenance services, looking after Auckland's parks, sports fields, streets, community buildings, stormwater and the airport. In addition, we are also offering expert horticultural, landscaping and plant supply services to local government and private enterprise. 

Our Sports and Cricket Team is currently looking for an experienced, skilled, motivated and enthusiastic Grounds person. In this role you will be assisting in the preparation and maintenance of grass cricket wickets and fields.Other duties would include generally ground and sports field maintenance such as mowing, tractor operations, sports field repairs, weed control, and ensuring that the grounds are well presented at all time for play. Good time management is essential to the success of this role.



He kōrero mōu: About you

•    Professional experience in grounds and sports field maintenance
•    A full clean NZ driver license with confident manual-driving skills are essential and a HT license would be an advantage 
•    Wheel, tracks & roller endorsement on drivers licence is required to operate cricket roller
•    Ability to plan and ensure deadlines are met
•    Have a strong customer focus & sound written and verbal communication skills
•    Ability to work unsupervised and comply with health and safety requirements
•    Have stamina with a good level of fitness and agility.


Holding a National Certificate in Sports Turf Management or relevant horticultural qualification would be advantageous.

This position works 40 hours per week between the hours 7am - 4pm Monday to Friday with weekend hours and after hours as required. Weekend work over summer is a big commitment and must be considered for such a role.
