We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join fun and dynamic Environmental Services team.

You will provide high-quality project coordination & administrative support to the Portfolio, Programme and Project Leads. You will be required to maintain databases, and provide end to end support for procurement processes and create and file documents and with accuracy and efficiency. You will be expected to build strong relationships in collaborating with our internal customers, understand their needs and effectively develop & deploy resources to help deliver Environmental Services work programme

The ideal candidate will be an inquisitive individual who is proactive and can work well with a diverse range of people across all levels of the organisation. You will have good initiative and the ability to balance competing priorities.  You’re a high performer in central or local government, business coordination or project delivery.

 

A successful candidate will ideally have experience in:

  • Tertiary certification/qualification in business administration or project management or related discipline
  • Have at least five years of relevant experience
  • Interest or previous experience in project management and procurement is desirable 
  • Previous experience with Council systems including SAP, MS Excel and Sentient is preferred
  • You'll have previous experience working in a complex and diverse environment
  • Knowledge of the local government environment would also be highly advantageous
