Join the Te Puke o Tara whānau and help bring extraordinary community experiences to life.

As a programme coordinator you will be working closely with community partners, community members, and colleagues to help create high‑quality programmes and activities that respond to local needs and priorities.

You'll support effective community practice, contribute to planning and evaluation, and ensure Te Puke o Tara remains a safe, welcoming and vibrant space for all who walk through our doors. Join a small, committed team that works together, guided by manaakitanga and whakawhanaungatanga.

This is a full time permanent, working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday working some weekends and outside working schedules. Flexibility is required to support community programmes, events and activities, including occasional evenings.

He kōrero mōu: About you

• Has experience supporting, developing or delivering community programmes, events or activities.
• Builds positive relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Brings creativity, initiative and enthusiasm to programme delivery.
• Sound problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, using good professional judgement.
• Has experience using social media and digital platforms for promotion and communication.
• Demonstrates cultural awareness and is comfortable working with people from diverse social, economic and ethnic backgrounds.
• Is organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Holds a current NZ Driver License

Salary: Band E ($65,493 - $77,050) depending on experience
