He angitūtanga: The Opportunity 

We now have a pivotal role for a Membership Services Manager to lead a dynamic team enhancing Amotai’s supplier diversity programme and ensuring exceptional service for our members.  This is a unique opportunity to drive the growth and success of Māori and Pasifika businesses within government and corporate supply chains, creating more local, diverse, and resilient supply chains for the future. 
 

As a key member of the Amotai Lead team, the Membership Services Manager will lead the development of strategies and services that add value to our members and provide a strong foundation for the long-term sustainability of Amotai. 


Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the development and continuous refinement of Amotai’s membership strategy, aligning with business growth and member satisfaction. 

  • Support a team to achieve the membership strategy and related revenue targets and KPIs, ensuring high-performance outcomes. 

  • Build and nurture strategic relationships across iwi, government, and private sector to support the growth and understanding of supplier diversity across the country 

  • Oversee team training and development, embedding best practices in member management, governance, and operational delivery. 

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to innovate and enhance operational efficiency.

You bring a wealth of experience and leadership, backed by a degree-level qualification in business management, strategy, commerce, law, or a related field. With over 10+ years in leadership roles, you have honed your ability to drive strategic change and innovative solutions, always with a focus on enhancing socio-economic outcomes. You have a proven track record in building high-performing teams and forging strong, strategic relationships with stakeholders across diverse sectors. Your deep understanding of tikanga Māori and your commitment to advancing Māori business opportunities under the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi are central to your leadership style. You are adept at managing complex projects and driving socio-economic outcomes, ensuring your teams achieve measurable results while navigating change with agility and adaptability.
