He angitūtanga: The opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and digitally savvy Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing projects and initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to utilise and develop skills in traditional, digital, and social media marketing for business-to-business engagements. You will play a crucial role in showcasing Auckland and our iconic venues to both local and global conventions markets. You will also use your B2C marketing skills to promote food & beverage outlets in the city (The Terrace, Container in the Square and Starks) to a social and corporate audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans that support the ACVE sales targets.
- Ensure all marketing collateral and activities align with corporate brand guidelines.
- Oversee, manage, and optimise the digital channels for ACVE.
- Manage marketing, communication, and research strategies.
- Oversee the marketing budget and provide monthly reports to management.
- Contribute to the sales team and business planning.
- Content writing for multiple platforms.
- Foster and build excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- A tertiary qualification in marketing is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of solid marketing experience in a corporate environment or similar organization.
- Experience in planning and delivering time-lined and budgeted campaigns using a variety of marketing tools and channels.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in managing marketing and digital strategies.
- Excellent copywriting and proofing skills.
- Positive and collaborative style with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to prioritise and work with a wide range of stakeholders.
