About Us: Auckland Conventions, Venues & Events (ACVE) offers New Zealand’s largest portfolio of iconic event venues. These venues include Viaduct Events Centre, Aotea Centre, Auckland Town Hall, The Civic, The Cloud, Shed 10, Auckland Zoo, Auckland Art Gallery, Go Media Stadium, Bruce Mason Centre, and North Harbour Stadium.

He angitūtanga: The opportunity 
We are seeking a dynamic and digitally savvy Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing projects and initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to utilise and develop skills in traditional, digital, and social media marketing for business-to-business engagements. You will play a crucial role in showcasing Auckland and our iconic venues to both local and global conventions markets. You will also use your B2C marketing skills to promote food & beverage outlets in the city (The Terrace, Container in the Square and Starks) to a social and corporate audience. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans that support the ACVE sales targets.
  • Ensure all marketing collateral and activities align with corporate brand guidelines.
  • Oversee, manage, and optimise the digital channels for ACVE.
  • Manage marketing, communication, and research strategies.
  • Oversee the marketing budget and provide monthly reports to management.
  • Contribute to the sales team and business planning.
  • Content writing for multiple platforms. 
  • Foster and build excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

He kōrero mōu: About you 

  • A tertiary qualification in marketing is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of solid marketing experience in a corporate environment or similar organization.
  • Experience in planning and delivering time-lined and budgeted campaigns using a variety of marketing tools and channels.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in managing marketing and digital strategies.
  • Excellent copywriting and proofing skills.
  • Positive and collaborative style with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and work with a wide range of stakeholders.
