  • Deliver marketing campaigns, content and website listings to drive visitation and support the Gallery’s role as a cultural leader in Aotearoa.

Tātaki Auckland Unlimited works to enrich Auckland for the benefit of all Aucklanders and our visitors. Our marketing team works flexibly across the breadth of our activities, whether it’s promoting our region’s tourism offerings or our major cultural attractions.

We’re looking for a talented Marketing Executive to support this work with a focus on Auckland Art Gallery – the largest and most inspiring visual arts experience in the country.

In this role, you'll help advance the Gallery's goals while enjoying a flexible working arrangement by spending time on-site in our award-winning building and nearby city offices in combination with working from home.

Reporting to a Marketing Manager, you’ll be an integral part of a collaborative and experienced marketing team. You will:

  • Help develop and deliver innovative, audience-focused marketing plans
  • Create, edit and publish compelling content across website, social media and e-newsletters
  • Produce a range of marketing materials, both digital and print, aligned with brand and campaign goals
  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective promotion and brand consistency.

Ultimately, you’ll help connect us with audiences from within our region, across the country and around the world.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing/communications or in business with a marketing focus
  • 3 years’+ experience within a marketing or marcomms-focused role
  • High attention to detail
  • Well-developed copywriting and editing skills
  • Strong relationship building and communication abilities
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Knowledge of the arts, culture, heritage, tourism or events sectors is welcomed, although not essential.
  • Experience using Salesforce Canva and/or Ticketure is a bonus

 
You are self-motivated, as well as highly focused and organised. You’re a good listener and effective team player who thrives when working collaboratively within a large and complex organisation.
