He angitūtanga: The opportunity

 

Fulltime / part-time fixed term for 4 months, Intermediate Planner role in the Streamline unit from 29 September 2025 until 29 January 2026. 

 

Work collaboratively and use your local government and/or private sector planning experience to make a difference.

 

Apply your planning expertise to assess a variety of resource consent applications and make recommendations that foster high quality outcomes in the quick paced streamline consenting unit.

He kōrero mōu: About you

 

You will bring your planning experience and a tertiary qualification in urban planning, resource management or in a similar field preferably acknowledged by NZPI. With a strong working knowledge of the Resource Management Act 1991 and an awareness of the proposed and pending legislative changes, you will have excellent case management skills. Restricted or full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence required.
