He angitūtanga: The opportunity
We’re looking for Casual Event Operators to work in our events team ahead of our busy events season.
As an Event Operator, you’ll be responsible for supporting a variety of events within the community. The purpose of this role is to provide logistical and operational support as crew members in the delivery of events across Auckland.
We need efficient operators to assist getting event sites up and running including transporting and setting up of various event equipment and furniture.
This is a casual role with flexible hours at a competitive rate. You will either be preparing for live events, loading and unloading our vehicles, transporting equipment or setting up/packing down at event sites.
As our work can be any day of the week, flexibility to work a variety of shifts from Monday to Sunday with ability to sometimes work early starts and late finishes is desirable. We are looking for people available from 10-40 hours a week.
No two days are the same and this is a great role for anyone who likes to work outside and has the ability to achieve excellent results as part of a great team in a fast-paced, but fun environment.

As a successful candidate you’ll be physically fit and have a sense of humour while holding strong value on being reliable. You should have the ability to work unsupervised while managing your varied workload. Events operations and event site experience is preferred, but not essential.
You will also have:
- Full clean drivers' license - manual transmission capability is essential
- Be proactive and use initiative to take on the responsibility of making sure things happen
