He angitūtanga: The opportunity
Reporting to the Event Manager, as an Event Coordinator you will work across a variety of events including some high-profile events, assisting with the event and venue planning process and provide administrative support to the Event Delivery Team. As an Event Coordinator you will be required to work across all our venues.
You will engage with clients, offering expertise from the beginning of the event planning phase to coordinate requested event management plans, as well as problem solve when needed.


You will also work to develop an understanding of our clients' requirements and work closely with internal teams including the security, property services, suppliers and service contractors to deliver high-quality events.

You are proactive and know you can hit the ground running and contribute from day one. You have a natural confidence and approachability which has allowed you to develop great networking skills, which will build strong relationships with both clients and suppliers.  

Ideally, you'll have experience in event management/coordination and if you do have a qualification in event management or equivalent, that would be desirable but not a necessity to apply.

At times, this is a hands-on role, so strong stamina and a good level of fitness is essential.

This is a permanent, fulltime opportunity. You will work 40 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday. Flexibility will be required to work events during nights and weekends.
