Tātaki Auckland Unlimited is the economic and cultural agency of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. We are dedicated to enhancing our region's desirability as a place to live, work, visit, invest, and do business.

To support our Content & Channels team, we are seeking a Digital Specialist – Content. This role will primarily focus on delivering content for Discover Auckland, which exists to enhance the visitor experience for Aucklanders and visitors alike.

He kōrero mōu: About you 

Ideally, you’ll be a digitally savvy content specialist, as in this role you will be multifaceted. You will lead and be responsible for the content delivery across the Discover Auckland platform; readily jumping from curating Top 10 lists and Must-See guides to SEO-powered, evergreen articles. You will also be the go-to for building webpages, enhancing digital experiences based on real-time data, and seeking ways to enhance and evolve the CMS.

Ultimately, you will curate content that increases brand awareness through engaging material and will support the product development roadmap to meet customer needs and commercial outcomes. Plus, you will work closely and collaboratively with business units and external suppliers to develop and implement the content strategy.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Experience with writing, briefing and creating digital content that excites and drives high engagement.
• Experience with email marketing platforms, with proven knowledge of the full user journey from brief to send (Bonus for experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
• Experience in reviewing, modifying and executing a content strategy to deliver on business objectives.
• Knowledge of SEO to understand and identify customer needs for optimising content.
• Proficiency in channel management, including website and paid social media campaign management
• A passion for measuring and analysing the effectiveness of content marketing efforts across our channels.
• A drive to achieve outcomes, motivated by results and goals.
