Auckland Council’s Community Wellbeing department has an exciting opportunity for a graduate to explore the full breadth of library services and community delivery.
- Rotations across Libraries & Learning Services, Community Delivery (Central/East), and Community Impact, offering a well-rounded experience.
- Hands-on involvement in key areas including Mobile Libraries, Central City Hub, Research & Heritage Services, Public Engagement, and Collections & Technical Solutions.
- Contribute to meaningful projects that support literacy, inclusion, and wellbeing across Auckland’s diverse communities.

We welcome graduates from a wide range of disciplines. What matters most is your curiosity, your willingness to learn, and your enthusiasm for gaining hands-on experience in community-focused work.
To be eligible to apply, you must have the following:
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand for more than 3 years without sponsorship
- Minimum of a relevant Bachelor’s degree completed January 2024 – January 2026
- A valid New Zealand restricted or full driver’s licence (if role requires)
